Services We Offer At

The NIA Foundation

BII and BID Services

Behavioral Intervention Implementation (BII) assists the necessary staff in providing support to students who struggle with de-escalation and self-regulation techniques.  BII’s uses Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) that include monitoring student progress and redirecting inappropriate behaviors to ultimately reinforce the social & behavioral skills necessary for a student’s academic performance.

Behavioral Intervention Development (BID) requires a behavior intervention specialist with expert knowledge of how to implement a function-based intervention plan.  BID specialists collaborate with administrative staff, teachers parents, and the student to more accurately assess how to ameliorate behaviors that adversely impact academic progress.

Psychological Services and Counseling

Services may be provided to students who require additional counseling and guidance services to supplement the students’ program as determined necessary by the school team to assist the student in accessing the school curriculum and attending school overall.

We provide educationally related therapeutic support for young people ranging from school phobia to self-efficacy development, emotional regulation, support for LGBTQ youth, self-awareness, etc. Counseling support is for scholars age 5 – 24 years.
